Students visit the Polish Embassy Despite the recent financial crisis throughout Europe, Poland has maintained an upward curve and is one of the few countries in the EU that has avoided any kind of recession. This success was the framework for a meeting earlier this week with the Polish Danish Business Forum at the Polish Embassy.
Copenhagen Norths international students won case competition At Business Academy Copenhagen North, we put great emphasis on education that is as close to real life, as possible. Therefore, collaboration with real companies means a lot for our everyday here at the academy.
Last week, two of our international Bachelor classes at International Sales and Marketing Management – together with two similar classes from Niels Brock, partook in a case assignment for Haldor Topsøe on a sales- and penetration strategi in Eastern Europe. A topic very relevant for Haldor Topsøe as it represents a major market potential for the company.
The Romanian Ambassador visits Business Academy Copenhagen North Business Academy Copenhagen North in Lyngby, was honored to have a prominent visitor. The Romanian Ambassador in Denmark, H.E Alexandru Victor Micula together with his Deputy Chief of Mission, Mr. Christian Negrila, visited the academy to talk to the students on possibilities for doing an internship at the Romanian Embassy in Hellerup. The visit is a direct result of the Romanian Ambassador last year having had a student from Business Academy Copenhagen North working at the Embassy. The experience was so successful for the Romanian hosts that they took time off from their busy schedule to meet the students and discuss the areas the Embassy is working on, but also what other possibilities the Embassy has to facilitate contacts with Danish companies collaborating with Rumania.
Visit from South Korea In week 5 , Business Academy Copenhagen North had hosted 15 South Korean students from Seoul National University. The South Korean delegation of students is studying to become teachers of upper secondary schools and has been in Denmark to gather inspiration from the Danish teachings methods. They have, among other things, learned about interdisciplinarity, problem-oriented teaching and the use of projects.
The South Korean students also attended typical teaching sessions with Danish students and in the evening, both sets of students met for dinner. The visit is a follow-up on the visit to Korea made by the director of Business Academy Copenhagen North, René van Laer, last November
