a. Nordic citizens Students from Nordic Countries need no residence permit. However, they must bring an Inter-Nordic certificate of change of address (Internordisk flyttebevis).
b. EU-citizens Students from EU member countries need a residence permit if they stay more than 3 months. I. You can apply for your residence permit after your arrival in Denmark 3 weeks before sthe study start. This is the normal procedure. It is important that you get the residence permit immediately after your arrival in Denmark, since you cannot register with the authorities until this is done.
